What Kind of Doctor Will I See?

They are licensed to practice comprehensive primary care under California law.
How Can Natural Health Care Help?
Natural health care is particularly effective for prevention and relief from chronic and degenerative health conditions. Commonly treated conditions include: fatigue, depression, colds and the flu, menopausal symptoms, stress-related conditions, allergies and asthma, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, digestive problems, ulcers and HIV/AIDS.
At the Bastyr University Clinic our providers explore issues such as lifestyle, history and diet from a holistic perspective. Experts on the self-healing process, they blend centuries-old knowledge of natural therapies with current research on health and human systems. Most importantly, our practitioners help patients become partners in their own health care, teaching them how to gain control of their health and encouraging them to actively make decisions regarding their care.

Our Health Care Providers
Erica Oberg, ND, MPH
Dr. Oberg is director of clinical services at Bastyr University Clinic, where she specializes in treating the underlying causes of disease, especially chronic diseases. For people with conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure, this often means fine-tuning lifestyle factors such as nutrition, physical activity or stress. For people with chronic pain or other somatic symptoms, this can mean using mind-body techniques such as craniosacral therapy to release underlying patterns of tension.
Dr. Oberg conducts clinical research in addition to working with patients. Her research focuses on healthy aging, holistic approaches to diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and understanding what helps patients and care providers adopt healthier behaviors.
Dr. Oberg's approach to medicine strives to bring together science-based knowledge with the internal wisdom of the body and spirit. She completed her doctor of naturopathic medicine degree and residency at Bastyr University in 2003. She also holds a master's degree in public health from the University of Washington. When not practicing medicine, you can find her promoting her own health in the garden or at the beach.
Moira Fitzpatrick, ND, PhD, FICPP, CHT
In addition to providing shifts in naturopathic medicine, Dr. Fitzpatrick also offers counseling shifts at Bastyr University Clinic. Dr. Fitzpatrick, vice president of Bastyr University California, has a BA in developmental psychology from UC Davis, an MA and PhD in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology and a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Bastyr University.

Ryan Bradley, ND, MPH

Dr. Bradley is a core clinical faculty member at the Bastyr University Clinic, where he sees patients, instructs medical students and directs the Diabetes & Cardiovascular Wellness Clinic. Dr. Bradley's clinical specialties include: types I & II diabetes, pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and vascular conditions including high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, chronic kidney disease and heart failure.
In addition to his work at the Bastyr University Clinic, Dr. Bradley is the Associate Director of the Bastyr University Research Institute, leading research initiatives at the new Bastyr University California campus. He has presented original research at national and international diabetes conferences, and published numerous primary research manuscripts in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Bradley believes it is never too late for optimal, holistic health and that naturopathic medicine always has something to offer along the path to wellness. When not practicing medicine or performing research, he is usually by the water, kite boarding, surfing, or just watching the waves.
June Renwick

Renwick has been teaching neuromuscular integration for more than 30 years. Early in her career, Renwick taught yoga in Cambridge, England, and worked with Lotte Berk, who was an early pioneer in core-based movement and muscle integration.
When she moved to California, Renwick trained with Ron Fletcher, who was responsible for bringing Pilates from New York to the West Coast. For decades, June has integrated his work with various forms of dance, physical conditioning and martial arts.
Renwick's method, in workshops and one-on-one studio work, provides a higher degree of physical capacity and a deeper level of mind-body-spirit integration.
Natalia Lomnicki, CMT
Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork, Lomnicki has been practicing massage therapy for over six years and is licensed in California and New York.
After studying yoga, Lomnicki developed an appreciation for the mind-body-spirit connection and how it can affect overall health. Lomnicki decided to study this connection in depth, attending New York College to study Swedish and Amma therapy, which is based on the body's energy meridians and traditional Chinese medicine. Since then, she has studied a variety of techniques, including sports and medical massage, deep tissue, myofascial release and reflexology.
Lomnicki, who has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purchase College, is currently pursuing her Doctor in Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University California.
