Transferring Graduate Credits
Bastyr University accepts graduate transfer credits earned at accredited colleges and universities. If you have completed a professional program such as chiropractic, allopathic or osteopathic medicine, you may be eligible for advanced standing. Additionally, if you have attended but not graduated from similar graduate or professional programs, such as acupuncture and Oriental medicine, you may be eligible to transfer your credits. Applicants seeking transfer credit will be required to pay a $75 transfer evaluation fee. Please see the Transfer into a Graduate Degree page for detailed information and policies.
Transferring Undergraduate Credits
Because Bastyr University is an upper-division institution, all undergraduates are transfer students who have completed undergraduate coursework elsewhere. The University accepts undergraduate transfer credits earned at any regionally accredited college or university as long as the courses are similar in content and taught at the same level as courses at Bastyr University.
You may transfer a maximum of 135 quarter credits or 90 semester credits toward an undergraduate degree at the University. You must have at least a 2.25 cumulative grade point average, with a grade of C (2.0) or better in all required courses. Please see the Transfer into an Undergraduate Degree page for detailed information and policies.
