Campus Security
Reporting a Crime
We highly encourage everyone to report any possible security problems or incidents. This information allows us to take action to maintain and increase overall University safety. In addition, there are several specific types of incidents which the University is required to report on an annual basis, as per the federal Clery Act.
Security Staff
In addition to our daytime staff, we have five staff performing a combination of on-duty and on-call work during nights and weekends at our Kenmore campus. They are available as escorts late at night, monitor the locking of offices and school doors, and roam the halls, parking lots, and property in a random pattern. They are also trained in AED/CPR and first aid.
Security can be reached at any time, 24/7, at (206) 850-1710.
Campus Security Act Report
The Federal Campus Security Act of 1990 requires that all colleges and universities receiving federal funds provide annual statistics on several specific categories of crime to the government and to the members of the university community by Oct. 1 of each year. A recap of that report follows, listing the number and type of crime committed from July 1 to June 30 for each of the past seven years.
