Sinew Strengthening and Silk Reeling have been used by martial artists and medical practitioners for hundreds of years. These exercises incorporate a specific series of movements with a breathing technique that connects the fascia of the whole body into one strong unit. Once a solid foundation is established, you will experience a heightened sense of body awareness that you can incorporate with any method of treatment. You will also experience a heightened energy and improved overall strength with this series of exercises.
The class will be a combination of lecture, demonstration and practice.
Upon successful completion of the seminar you will be able to:
- Demonstrate the full qigong exercise routine
- List the key qigong concepts that are imperative for successful practice
- Describe the appropriate coordinated movements needed for each exercise
- Use the correct breathing techniques to optimize the routine
- List the best times of day to practice the qigong routine
