In a world where we encounter negativity, toxicity and the misuse of power, we must be attentive to protecting ourselves and our environment from intrusive energies. Whether you are on a path of personal development or in practice as a professional healer, in this course you will attain ancient knowledge shared by the medicine men and women of the Americas which will support you in your personal life or enhance your personal repertoire. Jan. 23, 30 and Feb 6, Wed, 6:00-9:00 p.m. Instructor: Lauren Nalder, BSc 8 CEUs

Become empowered with skills and tools which will assist you with energetically challenged people, toxic relationships or uncomfortable environments. Learn the differences between various forms of dense energy, as well as recognize the power of intent and conscious ethical thought. Once you’ve learned to recognize and differentiate between these energies you can establish energetic boundaries to prevent energy depletion, and strengthen your energetic architecture. We will also explore how to identify, track and clear negative energies – whether they are transferred to you by others, manifest from within you, or they are in your environment.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to:

  • Describe and access the energetic architecture of your body.
  • Determine your energetic borders and the essential identifying qualities of your energy body.
  • Describe and perform protective shielding techniques.
  • Describe and perform methods for strengthening your energy body.
  • Describe and perform a powerful self-clearing technique.
  • Describe and perform methods of energy clearing, including the home and the land.
  • Describe how to open sacred space.

This class is part of a non-credit program offered by Bastyr’s Continuing Education Department called Indigenous Wisdom Teachings. To read about the course sequence, just click on the Program Flier PDF
