Bastyr University and Bastyr Center for Natural Health are taking donations to help end summer hunger through Hopelink.
As part of the John Bastyr Centennial to celebrate what would have been the 100th birthday of our namesake, we're seeking donations from July 16-20 for the John Bastyr Helping Hands Food Drive.
During that time, donations will be accepted at both the Kenmore campus, 14500 Juanita Drive N.E., and at Bastyr Center for Natural Health, our teaching clinic in Seattle at 3670 Stone Way N.
Donations will benefit Hopelink’s End Summer Hunger Campaign.
Nonperishable items and other foods needed year-round include:
- Canned meals
- Canned meat
- Cereal
- Dry beans
- Fruit (canned or fresh)
- Pasta
- Peanut butter
- Rice
- Soup
- Tomato products
- Vegetables (canned or fresh)
