Loren Riccio

Dr. Loren Riccio is adjunct faculty in the Department of Midwifery and a clinical preceptor and residency site director in the Department of Naturopathic Medicine at Bastyr University.
In addition to her role at Bastyr University, Dr. Riccio is the founder and Primary Care Clinical Director at Fern Valley Natural Health.
Her past experience includes:
- Midwives Association of Washington State (MAWS), Quality Management Program (QMP) committee member 2010- present
- Midwife, Eastside Birth Center 2006-2013
- Naturopathic Doctor and Midwife, Emerald City Clinic 2004-2012
- Founder, Doctor, Full Circle Clinic a subsidiary of Emerald City Clinic 2006-2012
- Speaker at conferences/events sponsored by AANMC, Bastyr University, Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Institute for Natural Medicine, MAWS, and WANP
- Midwife, Villa Central Hospital, Vanuatu 2004
Her clinical interests include pediatrics, holistic gynecology, midwifery, and botanical medicine.
When she is not busy at her clinic or teaching, Dr. Loren loves road trips, snuggling with her dogs, and playing roller derby.
