Bastyr University is
a regionally and programmatically accredited institution. Since it was founded
in 1978 to train naturopathic physicians, many degree programs have been
added which provide opportunities to study natural health and applied
behavioral science. Programs include acupuncture and Oriental medicine,
applied behavioral science, exercise science and wellness, herbal
sciences, naturopathic medicine, nutrition and psychology. Certificates
in Chinese herbal medicine and naturopathic midwifery provide additional
professional training.
