Lactobacillus Acidophilus (Superdophilus, TM) and Its Effect on Intestinal Candida

Abstract:: Twenty-six subjects with positive stoll cultures
for Candida albicans were prospectively studied with a double-blind
protocol to determine the effect on Candida of supplementation with the
strain of Lactobacillus acidophilus found in Superdophilus ™. There were
no statistically significant differences between the treatment and
control groups. The limitations of this study are discussed, with
recommendations for future studies.
