Brad Lichtenstein, ND

Dr. Brad LichtensteinDr. Lichtenstein is a full-time core faculty member in the School of Natural Health Sciences at Bastyr University. He teaches courses for naturopathic medicine, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, and health psychology degree programs, including Myth, Ritual and Healing; and Healing: Self, Society and World. He oversees counseling and biofeedback appointments for patients with chronic pain at Bastyr University's teaching clinic, Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

As an instructor and physician, Dr.Lichtenstein's work examines developing psycho-emotional-spiritual health in the midst of living with chronic and life-challenging illness such as HIV and cancer. His main passions are homeopathy and psychoneuroimmunology (body-mind medicine). He has studied and trained in biofeedback, breath work, meditation, yoga therapy, somatic based psychology and energetic bodywork (craniosacral, orthobionomy, Thai yoga therapy, and reflexology).

Dr. Lichtenstein's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders and psychology from the University of Pittsburg and a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in 1995.
