Mango Lassi

Description

Sweet and refreshing, this drink from India is a good alternative to ice cream on hot summer days while supplying calcium, active cultures, vitamin C and potassium!

Ingredients

2 cup
low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 cup
mango nectar
2  
mangoes, cut into chunks
1⁄8 tsp
cardamon
1 cup
ice cubes
  to taste
chopped pistachios to garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine yogurt, nectar, mango chunks and cardamon and blend until smooth. Add ice and blend until totally integrated. Pour into tall glasses and add a pinch of pistachios.
