Flax Seed Oil Fruit Smoothie

Description

Get the heart health benefits from the omega-3 oil from flax seeds.

Ingredients

1⁄2 each
banana
2 each
ice cubes
1 cup
juice (pineapple, apple, grape)
1 tbsp
yogurt
1 tbsp
flax seed oil

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together in a blender. Try adding protein powder, fresh or frozen berries, cherries or any other fruit. This smoothie is great for breakfast or a snack.

Tips About Flax Seed Oil

  • Oil should always be kept in the refrigerator in a dark bottle to maintain freshness.
