For those of you unfamiliar with tempeh, it is made of cooked soybeans that are fermented and is of Indonesian origin. A 4-ounce piece has 200 calories, 17 grams of protein and 4 grams of fat. Prepare the Barbecue Sauce first. This can be done a day ahead of time.
Cut the tempeh into 1 ½" by ¾" rectangles. Sauté the tempeh in the oil until browned. Add the onions and continue to saute till golden brown. Add the peppers and continue to sauté. Add the Nappa cabbage and saute until tender. Place these ingredients in a serving container and cover generously with barbecue sauce. Serve and enjoy!
