While the hyssop, chamomile and catnip in this Cold and Respiratory Tea are among the herbs that boast calming qualities that will help you manage a cold, the yerba sante, yallow flower and thyme can soothe your congestion and cough. Mix together and use 1 rounded teaspoon per mug of hot water, or 2 tablespoons per tea pot. Steep 3 to 5 minutes, depending on taste. Do not oversteep as it becomes bitter. Drink throughout the day for upper and lower respiratory congestion and body aches and pains.
