Scott Brown, PhD, MS
Dr. Brown is a core faculty member in the Bastyr University Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science.

Dr. Brown has taught chemistry at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (2007-2013) and kinesiology at the University of Minnesota (2009-2013).
Dr. Brown teaches Physiology of Exercise, Motor Learning and Development, Research Methods, Seminar in Ergogenic Aids, Business Principles, Physical Activity and Wellness, Biomechanics 1, Exercise Science Practicum and Internship, and Activity Courses.
Dr. Brown’s interests include exercise biochemistry, metabolism, outdoor exercise and sports performance.
Dr. Brown does his best to provide a sustainable and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to learn through class instruction, group discussion and real-life application. His goal is to deliver an educational experience that benefits the individual student and the collective community.
