Teaching and Clinical Interests

Dr. Jensen teaches homeopathy, naturopathic medical philosophy and clinical skills. As a practitioner, she has a special interest in treating autoimmune conditions. She has extensive experience in homeopathic medicine, hydrotherapy, botanical medicine, nutrition and mind-body medicine.

Dr. Jensen has also been a yoga teacher for more than ten years. She believes in following the original definition of doctor as a teacher who empowers patients to take charge of their own health.

Past Experience

Dr. Jensen previously built a successful private practice in Austin, Texas, where she was president of the Texas Association of Naturopathic Physicians and co-hosted a call-in radio show about integrative health options.

Education

  • Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona in 2008.
  • Bachelor of Science in biopsychology and cognitive sciences from the University of Michigan, involving extensive research on amphibian neurotransmitter systems.
