Two-time Grammy award winner and world-class musician Diane Schuur will jazz up Bastyr University's fundraising efforts this fall with a performance on Friday, November 7, at 8 p.m. in the University's acoustically-acclaimed chapel on its Kenmore campus. Seattle jazz band Overton Berry Trio will open the show.

Schuur consistently dazzles audiences with her warm, rich vocals and keyboard talents. Through three decades of performing, she has exhilarated concert goers not only with her music, but also her humor and insight. A beloved musical luminary, Schuur has performed and collaborated with such legends as BB King, Ray Charles and Stan Getz. She has released 20 albums, including Some Other Time, a recent compilation of songs made famous by the jazz artists she admired in her youth.
