We have one room available for sublet with an opportunity to stay longer (if you renew the lease; the sublet would run for the months of July and Aug) The room is available starting June 24-25. It is located within walking distance to three major shopping/eating/walking areas: Greenlake (8 blocks from the south tip of the lake) Wallingford (7 blocks) and the U-District (about 10-12 blocks). It is conveniently located near I-5, but is far enough away that there is very little noise from major traffic roads. It is within walking/biking distance of the clinic (about 15-20 blocks) and a 20-25 min ride to school depending upon traffic. The house is 2 blocks from the school’s shuttle route, so it’s really convenient to hop on there, or ride home from school.

Your roommates will be 2 males, 1 female, a friendly dog and a cat. No more pets please. 1 Bastyr grad who will be interning at Seattle Tilth, 1 student who graduated a Bastyr undergrad program and is getting ready to start the TCM program next year, and a gentleman I have not had the pleasure to get to know, but seems really cool (he is taking over my room). He does some massage therapy, modeling, and some odd jobs.

The house is really cute, it’s about 90 years old, and has 4 bedrooms (2 on 1st floor, 2 in basement). The available room will be a large upstairs room with a nice, large walk in closet.

I am hoping to be admitted to the N.D. program at Bastyr to begin summer 2010 and plan to complete prerequisite coursework this year at a community college. I lived in greater Seattle from 1996-2006 and am now moving back from Florida. I am a professional adult with a 19-month-old son and a 19-year-old neutered, declawed cat (was when I adopted him). Would like to move back this summer if I can find an affordable living situation (either renting a private apartment or finding someone to share with, like another single parent). Looking for either a potentially long-term situation or a temporary housing situation while I look for long-term. Furnished would be a plus.

We have a daylight basement apartment roughly 1200 sq feet that has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and kitchen. Bedrooms are 10 x12. There is a linen closet, coat closet and some storage. Separate entry. Lots of windows that face the west. Slider door that leads to a large patio. Stays nice and cool in the hot summer. Located off of Juanita Drive on a quiet dead end street. It's a 3 minute drive and about a 15 minute walk to Bastyr. Near a bank, grocery store, drug store and Subway! Housing is very limited near Bastyr so you better act fast!

And we have a cabin near Stevens Pass that we let our renters use from time to time!

This is a wonderful place for someone who is new to the area or in need of a convenient home for the summer!
