New Student Village
Bastyr University's new "student village" is under construction and will open summer 2010. Comprised of 11 cottage-style buildings connected by a series of garden paths, courtyards and outdoor living spaces, the new student village is being carefully designed for energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. These LEED-certified cottages are being built on the northern edge of campus along the tree line and have the capacity to house a total of 132 students — 12 individual rooms in each two-story cottage. Planned enhancements include the planting of native species to provide greater wildlife habitat. Learn more about the new student housing village.
General Housing Information
Bastyr University is located in Kenmore, Washington, just 10 miles north of Seattle. There are several options for housing: student rooms on campus, available on a first-come, first-serve basis and off-campus housing, including living in houses or apartment near campus or nearby Seattle. Check out the off-campus housing section for good advice on how to find the right living situation for you then search our off-campus housing board for current vacancies.
