Naturopathic Doctor/CPM Midwife looking for ND/Midwife associate for busy general naturopathic practice offering midwifery care. Northern Sun Family Health Care is looking for someone to cover the practice during maternity leave with the option of a permanent position. The practice adjoins The Birth Center at Northern Sun, a freestanding birth center which opened in July, 2011. This is a great opportunity to join an active practice in a beautiful town with a wide draw from the surrounding communities.
Time period for coverage starts January 1st, 2013.
Topsham is located on the coast of Maine with access to many outdoor and cultural activities and is 30 minutes from Portland and 2 1/2 hours from Boston. Maine is a licensed state with a good scope of practice, supportive naturopathic colleagues and a great community interested in complementary and alternative medicine.
Must have completed coursework in midwifery but willing to train to get birth experience.
Open to considering CNM with holistic background/interests.
