Licensed Midwife looking a Midwife associate for a small midwifery practice. Pacific Natural Birth is looking for a midwife to come and cover co-owner's position in the practice during maternity leave with the future option of a partnership position. This successful new start-up opened in July, 2012 and is already expecting 20 babies between January and July, 2013. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the development of a new practice that has a word of mouth and returning client base in an area of Seattle where no other home and birth center birth midwives are located.
Time period for position starts as soon as March 1, 2013 but no later than May 1, 2013.
The ideal candidate is excited about midwifery, has a willingness to commit to business ownership following a trial period and is able to self-identify other skills that make her a promising practitioner and business owner. Mentoring and assistance in applying as a provider with insurance companies is available.
