Great opportunity to work for a firm hired by hospitals to obtain reimbursement for hospital bills from insurance companies.
Position is available for an Office Assistant/Claim Representative.
You will interact with patients, insurance companies, and law firms. Approximately half of the day is on the telephone with patients, hospitals and other involved parties. The other component of the position is documenting comments, sending letters and emails and managing other administrative duties.
Basic math skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills are required as well as strong typing and computer skills (Word, Outlook and Database). Follow up and accuracy are key.
Will train a bright go-getter but some office experience with customer focus is important.
