In this class, simple postures will be deeply explored as a way for you to more fully experience being in your body.

Core beliefs shape the expression of our personality. The two most commonly asked questions in life are: “Who am I?” and “Why am I here?”

Our focus in this three-day course will be using ancient Daoist Five Element theory to identify the “constitutional type” that is the expression of a primary energetic imbalance expressed through the personality. We will look at how our early life experiences create core beliefs which then shape the expression of our personality. Over time and with repeated experience we develop character strategies, the habits which define how we behave and how we see the world. This is the foundation of our constitutional type.

Audit a Class @ Bastyr

Did you know that you (the general public) can take many of the University's regular academic courses, assuming extra seats are available and you have the required prerequisites?

You can either audit classes or take them for credit. These 11-week classes, usually held on weekdays, are available in the nutrition, culinary arts, exercise science, health psychology and herbal sciences programs.
