Cancer Study Participants Find Hope and Health at Bastyr Integrative Oncology Research Center

Barbara Nord found hope. Dr. Larry Johnson, an MD, discovered natural therapies could facilitate a quick recovery. Dr. Cynthia Buxton, an ND, found a health coach and an advocate. The three were among the first research participants to join the Bastyr Integrative Oncology Research Center (BIORC), which opened in February. For all three, the center — which was made possible through a generous grant from Budge Brown of Cleavage Creek Winery — served as an excellent complement to their conventional medicine treatments for cancer.
