Bastyr Now Offers Affordable Women's Health Screenings
Women's health screenings serve a crucial role in reducing mortality and morbidity by catching signs and symptoms of breast and cervical cancer early. Yet, some women don't receive routine screenings, because they cannot afford to pay for them. That's why Bastyr is thrilled to announce its participation in the federally and locally funded program, the Washington Breast and Cervical Health Program (WBCHP). This program, which provides free or highly discounted annual pelvic and breast exams, mammograms and PAP testing, serves women age 40-60 with little or no insurance, and whose income is at or below 250 percent of the federal poverty level. To find out if you qualify for this program, call (206) 834-4100 or visit Bastyr Center for Natural Health's website.
