The Bachelor of Science with a Major in Health Psychology Tracks:The bachelor of science degree with a major in health psychology offers students a choice of two tracks. This track system provides students an opportunity to direct their focus of study, enabling them to tailor their undergraduate experience to more fully meet their interests.
The Path to a Rewarding Career Begins at Bastyr:The bachelor of science with a major in health psychology at Bastyr provides an excellent foundation for those who wish to pursue graduate degrees in all areas of psychology including clinical psychology, counseling fields and mind-body studies. More specifically, students who choose the health psychology track will be well-prepared to continue graduate work in all areas of psychology, social work, public health, nutrition, therapy and education. Students pursuing the health psychology and human biology/pre-med track will be soundly prepared to continue graduate studies in the biomedical field including naturopathic and allopathic medicine, nursing, nutrition, acupuncture and Oriental medicine, physical and occupational therapy. Students wishing to join the workforce directly after completing their bachelor's degree have opportunities in social services, human resources, research, volunteer organizations, health services, and the fitness and wellness industry. |
