Bachelor of Science with a Major in Nutrition and Exercise Science
Beginning in the 2009-2010 academic year, this new degree offering combines the strengths of both our nutrition and our exercise science bachelor of science programs. Integrating the University’s unique whole-food approach with exercise physiology and holistic health and wellness, students learn about the impact that nutrition and physical activity have on health and wellness.
Graduates may develop careers in the areas of community health and fitness or disease prevention and health promotion, including strength and conditioning coaches and personal trainers. This degree also prepares students for graduate work in related health science fields.
