Bastyr Center for Natural Health is the teaching clinic of Bastyr University, one of the world's leading centers of natural medicine education and research. Staffed by health care teams that include advanced students under the supervision of Bastyr's clinical faculty, the center provides a teaching vehicle for the university as well as quality health care.

How Natural Health Care Can Help Natural health care is particularly effective for the prevention of and relief from chronic and degenerative health conditions. It can help provide relief from fatigue, depression and relationship issues, colds and the flu, menopausal symptoms, stress-related conditions, allergies and asthma, cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, digestive problems, ulcers and HIV/AIDS.
Serving the Community The center is committed to many community outreach and special-interest projects. These include providing medical services for homeless youth in conjunction with the nearby 45th Street Clinic, providing health services for retirees at Ballard NW Senior Activity Center, and operating an integrative care clinic for people living with HIV/AIDS. Adjunctive Care for Patients with Cancer Bastyr also offers comprehensive, integrative care to those with cancer on our serene, wooded campus in Kenmore, Washington. The Bastyr Integrative Oncology Research Clinic (BIORC) provides cancer patients with adjunctive treatments, including acupuncture, nutritional guidance, herbal remedies and mind-body medicine. Established through a grant from Cleavage Creek Winery, the clinic is part of a research collaboration with Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center evaluating outcomes of integrative cancer care.
