Expand your consciousness and establish spiritual connections as you realize your ability to access trustworthy sources of strength, clarity, and courage. Oct 10, 17 & 24, Wed, 6-9p.m. Lauren Nalder, BSc 8 CEUs

Your inner landscape is a vast world accessible through the simple act of journeying. Learn how to journey to your sacred garden - a place of personal safety, comfort, and joy. Meet your power animal, a constant companion and source of personal strength and wisdom. With the assistance of your animal, meet your compassionate, nonjudgmental Guide who can assist you in navigating the currents of your life. You are never alone, and assistance is just a journey away.

Upon completion of the seminar you will be able to:

  • Describe how to enter your inner world to access wisdom and guidance
  • Explain the concepts of the sacred garden, the power animal, and the Guide
  • Demonstrate a breathing and centering technique
  • Discuss how the sacred garden, the power animal, and the Guide can be sources of peace, knowledge, acceptance, and empowerment

This class is part of a non-credit program offered by Bastyr’s Continuing Education Department called Indigenous Wisdom Teachings. It is one of the classes in the Inner Journey track and the Wisdomkeeper track. To read about the course sequence, requirements and fees for each track, just click on the Program Flier PDF.

Lauren Nalder, BSc in Exercise & Sport Science

Over the course of 30 years, Lauren has traveled the globe visiting sacred sites and gaining knowledge from cultures steeped in tradition. She has studied world mythology, Eastern philosophy, Toltec wisdom and the indigenous healing practices of the Q’ero elders of Peru.

Lauren has earned a notable reputation as a wisdom teacher by assisting students through their personal healing journey while inspiring and propelling them to realize their own magnificence as influential healers. The Indigenous Wisdom Teachings program blends Inca shamanism, Western consciousness work, modern science, and knowledge of biophysics, quantum mechanics and primordial energy medicine that was imparted to her by Angels.

Founding Director of The Center for Elemental Healing and Wisdom, Lauren offers workshops, retreats and certification programs in mind-body-spirit wellness. She established Love Natural Elements, co-creating a unique line of hand-blended oils designed to evoke the senses and support the individual healing process.
