In a therapeutic setting, tuning forks are placed on the body, including traditional acupuncture points, trigger points and muscles to help move stagnant energy, relieve physical or emotional pain, as well as strengthen internal organ function.
Since the body responds so well to vibration and specifically to the Ohm frequency, applying vibration with the Ohm tuning forks is an ideal complement to many bodywork methods. The inclusion of sound therapy can maximize the healing effects of all energy healing practices. Similar to acupuncture, the forks create a kinetic force, clearing obstructions in the body to the free flow of Qi, blood, and lymph. Many people also report feeling more than just relaxed. They have a sense of “euphoria” as the vibration of Ohm releases endorphins in the brain.
Training will cover technique, theory, and the therapeutic application of Ohm tuning forks. The Huatuo Jiaji spinal points will be emphasized because they are reflexive to the entire body, making this very beneficial and versatile treatment protocol easily incorporated by all bodyworkers.
Plan ahead and don’t miss this one because you will want to enroll in the follow up class coming this spring!
Upon completion of the seminar you will be able to:
- Describe Ohm as the primordial sound and the “law of octaves” as the foundation of our physical universe
- Demonstrate practical treatment applications to the body’s acupoints
- Demonstrate practical treatment applications to the body’s chakras
- Demonstrate practical treatment applications to the body’s myofascial trigger points
- Utilize “sacred geometry,” creating constellations of acupoints in treatment
- Describe and list at least three sound healing historical references from Pythagoras and Johannes Kepler, to Hans Coustou and modern sound healing therapists
