Aljoya Mercer Island invites the public to a free, two-part wellness lecture series featuring Bastyr University faculty members.

Learn how exercise helps you stay healthy, and come away with tips for increasing your physical activity.

Dr. June Kloubec, PhD holds a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University, and both a Masters and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in kinesiology/exercise physiology with special focus areas of nutrition and public health. She was a faculty member for over 15 years at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota and is currently a core faculty member at Bastyr University with a joint appointment in the Department of Nutrition and Exercise Science.

The first talk, "Basic Principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine" by Kathleen Lumiere, DAOM, LAc, is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 12.
