You are invited by the Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations to the premiere performance "Spirito in Tre Parti," a special opportunity to learn about birth trauma and the potential for healing.
This is a story that could be told by many. It is a personal story, a story for those who have been through a trauma and for the families and friends of one who has suffered trauma. The story is for understanding, for hope, for personal peace.
"Spirito in Tre Parti,” a premiere performance by the 127th Street Dance Company, is a poignant conclusion to Day 1 of When Survivors Give Birth, a workshop offered through the Bastyr University Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations.
Join us for a discussion on birth trauma, survivor stories and artworks by survivors, refreshments, and a Q&A session with the dancers and choreographer Barbara Caioli.
A suggested donation of $10 can be given at the door.
