Spirito in Tre Partis: A Story Told in Dance about Trauma and Healing

This is a story that could be told by many. It is a personal story, a story for those who have been through a trauma and for the families and friends of one who has suffered trauma. The story is for understanding, for hope, for personal peace. This story is for love.  127th St. Dance Company is honored to present "Spirito in Tre Parti" as a poignant conclusion to Day 1 of the Simkin Center For Allied Birth Vocations When Survivors Give Birth workshop. "Spirito" will be part of a discussion on birth trauma, that will include appearances by survivors as well as Penny Simkin.

Refreshments, and a Q&A session with the dancers and choreographers of 127th St. Dance, will immediately follow the performance.

Cost: A suggested donation of $10 can be given at the door.
