It is a beautiful thing for couples to do for each other because it promotes communication, closeness, and balance. We will cover reflexology topics such as history, benefits of the technique, and how it promotes health. We will also explore couples issues of communication and boundaries and how to navigate them for success. The primary goal is for you to learn practical skills that can be used right away. This will be accomplished through hands-on practice in a safe and respectful environment.

Drake Ewing, LAc completed his reflexology training in 2000 and earned a master’s degree from Bastyr in 2004. He has worked as a reflexologist and acupuncturist in a wide variety of clinical applications. These rich and diverse experiences have provided the framework for his classes. As a healthcare professional and educator he enjoys writing, public speaking and outreach. Drake also has experience teaching at the elementary and preschool levels with students of diverse cultural backgrounds and learning challenges. Location: Bastyr University Kenmore Campus, room 16. Bastyr University is housed in an older facility with fluctuating interior temperatures; it is advisable to wear layers. Also, Bastyr is a “fragrance-free” campus.
