Description: Breema is based on a profound understanding of the underlying unity of all life, expressed through the Nine Principles of Harmony. The atmosphere of a Breema workshop is deeply nourishing and revitalizing. Through Breema bodywork and Self-Breema you can explore and experience first-hand the Nine Principles which can be applied in any activity or situation. The Nine Principles are: body comfortable, no extra, firmness and gentleness, full participation, mutual support, no judgment, single moment/single activity, no hurry/no pause, and no force.
Practicing Breema can help you to be present and bring greater harmony to all aspects of your life, as well as nurture yourself in the midst of life’s demands.
Upon completion of the seminar you will be able to:
- List at least three of Breema’s Nine Principles of Harmony
- Discuss your practical relationship with one of the principles and how the principle can apply to your daily life
- Perform four Self-Breema exercises that can be used for self-care
- Explain the relevance of Self-Breema to increasing vitality and supporting overall wellness
- Perform a Breema bodywork sequence presenting a full body treatment while demonstrating an emphasis on care for one’s own body (being present in the process)
