Pat Justis, MA, is the current manager of the Washington Patient-Centered Medical Home Collaborative for the Washington State Department of Health. She has a master of arts in counseling and community psychology. Pat has over 25 years of experience working to improve health care in various settings. Her work has emphasized patient satisfaction and patient-centered improvements, patient safety and system reforms. Pat is also a freelance writer and photographer who believes creative expression is linked to healing.
Tiffany Reiss, PhD, associate professor and chair of Bastyr University's Department of Exercise Science and Wellness, has been at Bastyr University since 2002. Dr. Reiss earned her PhD in health and wellness promotion at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Her MS and BS degrees are in Exercise Physiology from Appalachian State. She has been a nutritionist with the Caldwell County Health Department and a Facility Supervisor at the Quinn Recreation and Wellness Center at Appalachian State.
Kellie Creamer Pomeroy has a BS degree in nutrition, a certification in Ayurvedic medicine and a master's degree in international community health. As a community health nutritionist for over a dozen years, she has had the opportunity to work with, teach and learn from an incredible and diverse range of individuals. She was a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa and has worked, studied and traveled throughout Africa, Asia, Latin America and North America.
Eveline Mueller-Graf has a BS in nutrition from Bastyr University. She is from Switzerland, where she spent a lot of time foraging in the mountains as well as preserving food for winter. Before moving to Seattle she catered for musicians. Here she is a happy homemaker, raising a child, growing her own food, canning, playing music and hosting Swiss dinner parties. She has worked in the school cafeteria and as a teaching assistant in the classroom-kitchen.
Katy Callaghan Huston holds a master's degree in pastoral studies from The School of Theology and Ministry at Seattle University and a BA in art history from the University of Washington. When he's not working with patients he can be found lecturing or teaching Zen meditation and qigong at various venues around Seattle. The sages of thousands of years ago saw that we can achieve not only health and wellness, but true liberation from all suffering by living in harmony with our environment. This continues to be the philosophy guiding David's professional and personal path.
Jenny Perez has worked with plants and people for 15 years. She has a BS in herbal sciences from Bastyr University.
