Admissions & Aid - San Diego Campus
Bastyr University's academic and research programs have received international recognition for pioneering work in science-based natural medicine. The California campus will offer a learning environment that fosters serious inquiry, professional dedication and lifelong relationships. The campus opened in fall 2012 for the inaugural class in the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program.

Campus Visits
To schedule a tour, call (858) 246-9700. You can learn about the building and surrounding area here.
Prerequisites
The prerequisite requirements and enrollment process will be the same at both campuses. If there is anything unique that prospective California students need to do, they will be advised through the Office of Admissions and through University newsletters. At this time, they can proceed as normal, and we will keep them posted at regular intervals.
Tuition
Tuition, fees, books and supplies will cost the same at the San Diego and Kenmore campuses. See our graduate tuition page for more information.
Financial Aid
Scholarships and loans will be available in the same way for both campuses (on a limited basis as funds are available). See our financial aid page for more information.
Transfer Students
Transfer students may apply to study at the Kenmore, Washington, campus only. See more information on transfer students.
The San Diego campus will offer only first-year classes in the inaugural year, so more advanced Kenmore students will not be able to take classes there.
International Students
We do not have federal approval to enroll international students at the San Diego campus in fall 2012. We continue to welcome international students to apply to our Kenmore campus, and we anticipate securing approval to enroll international students in San Diego in fall 2013.
