Huffington Post reports on Cost-effectiveness of CAM

Bastyr alumni Patricia Herman, ND PhD, and iconic CAM researcher David Eisenberg, MD recently published a systematic review of CAM cost-effectiveness studies.  Over 114 full economic evaluation studies were included. The higher-quality studies indicate potential cost effectiveness, and even cost savings across a number of complementary and integrative medicine (CIM) therapies and populations. A Huffington Post article recently reviewed this research and interviewed Dr. Herman.   The full text publication can be found here.
