Center for Health Policy and Leadership Springs Into Action

With renewed energy, Bastyr University’s Center for Health Policy and Leadership (CHPL) supports ongoing efforts that encourage active participation in public affairs to promote health and well-being. This is an exciting time to be involved with health policy and health leadership!  The Affordable Care Act (ACA) continues to be interpreted and implemented in each state creating opportunity for citizen discourse and involvement. In that spirit, the CHPL moves forward to advance the understanding of health policy and leadership issues through community engagement, effective leadership building, policy education, evidence-based research, and advocacy training. As the new CHPL director, I invite you to join us in our enthusiasm for positive change by getting involved with upcoming spring events. These offerings include opportunity for engagement through both direct and supportive action.  Our goal is to keep you informed, inspired, and involved.
