Bastyr University established the Dwayne J. Clark Center for Healthy Aging in 2009 with the help of a generous donation from Mr. Clark and in response to a need for research on healthy aging. People are now living longer, and it is expected that the number of Americans over the age of 65 will double by the year 2035. The Center will investigate whether complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) can help seniors live longer and healthier lives.
