Meet Alison Scott, our California Admissions and Student Services Director
We're thrilled to introduce the energetic admissions virtuoso Alison Scott, our new associate director of admissions and student services for the San Diego campus. Alison makes up a key part of the Bastyr University California leadership, and she comes with experience from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona, where she was assistant director of admissions.
Alison will be the main admissions advisor for the San Diego naturopathic medicine program — she's already involved in California admissions interviews at our Kenmore campus. She will move to California this summer.
In her student services role, Alison will be the first contact for all sorts of San Diego questions. She invites you to get in touch at sandiego[at]bastyr[dot]edu.
"I am proud to join the Bastyr University family and be able to contribute a passion for helping students achieve their dreams," she says. "The first several classes of students will have a unique opportunity to impact the future of naturopathic medicine in California — and to help shape the community personality and traditions at the new campus.
"You’re welcome to contact me at any time with questions or just to chat. I look forward to assisting you!"
This blog contains the most recent updates and developments for Bastyr University's San Diego campus, which opened in fall 2012.
The San Diego campus and clinic is located at 4106 Sorrento Valley Boulevard in the center of the city's life sciences cluster and approximately 14 miles north of downtown.
It lies within walking distance of the San Diego Coaster commuter train (which connects to more light-rail lines), and is within a short drive of the University of California-San Diego, Scripps Mercy Hospital and the VA San Diego Medical Center.
