Bastyr University California celebrated its grand opening with more than 400 students, alumni, employees, friends and community members on September 14, 2012.

One has years of experience at Bastyr University's Kenmore campus, another has spent years bringing naturopathic medicine to global health from the second-poorest country in the western hemisphere, but all of the new faculty members at Bastyr University California are ready to share their expertise with you when classes start in a couple of weeks!

Bastyr University California students will have access and lending privileges at the UCSD Biomedical Library thanks to a new partnership between the universities. The arrangement will give Bastyr students access to the same resources used by students, clinicians and researchers at the UCSD School of Medicine, the Skaggs School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, the UC San Diego Health System and the Division of Biological Sciences.

Bastyr University’s Simkin Center for Allied Birth Vocations will join the Bastyr University California campus, offering workshops to the public in childbirth educator training, doula training and other birth vocations skills.
