Bobbi Lutack, ND ('93)
Seattle, WA
Interviewed June 2004
Briefly describe your personal history:
Recently married in September 2004 at the Bastyr University Chapel. I have three
children ages 4, 5 and 9.
Briefly describe your practice (business model):
I started Evergreen Natural Health Clinic several years ago. It is an integrative
medical clinic.
How is natural medicine accepted in your region?
I live in Seattle and feel that natural medicine is very well accepted.
What do you find to be the most interesting aspect of practicing?
I really enjoy diagnosing, my medical knowledge and witnessing patients getting
better.
What do you consider your winning business strategies?
I do lectures and networking. My practice has grown based on word-of-mouth referrals.
I also believe that practicing for an extended amount of time in one location
is important in building a practice.
What keeps you motivated to practice?
I love what I do and it works! My patients respond to the treatments using natural
medicine.
What is/has been your most useful resource?
The patients referring me (word of mouth).
What’s “next” for you? Where would you like to place your
energies?
Since I enjoy what I am doing so much, I would like to continue doing exactly
that. I may like to teach more.
What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of medicine?
I enjoy tennis, walking, running, reading, spirituality and mostly playing with
my family.
