Briefly describe your practice (business model):
I am a solo practitioner and director of my clinic: The Women and Childrens’
Natural Health Center.
How is natural medicine accepted in your region?
Natural medicine in very well accepted in the general public in my area.
What do you find to be the most interesting aspect
of practicing?
I find the “detective work” to be most interesting, when I
am required to determine the underlying cause of disorders.
What are your overall marketing strategies?
Word of mouth and lectures.
What keeps you motivated to practice?
Knowing that these treatments (herbs, nutrition, etc) are safe alternatives
to the drugs being used; encouraging patients to use food as medicine
and helping them to understand the connection of the mind and body.
What’s “next” for you? Where would
you like to place your energies?
I would like to write a book, focus more on pediatrics and explore environmental
medicine in my community.
What are some of your interests/hobbies outside of
medicine?
Yoga, mountain climbing/hiking, knitting, resting
