Naturopathic Medicine alumna and adjunct faculty

I attended Bastyr University because of its reputation as the premier school for natural health sciences in North America, and I haven’t regretted that decision. The naturopathic medicine program gave me the tools to be an in-demand physician in the 21st century marketplace. It provided me with a strong grounding in the basic and clinical sciences as well as specialized training in natural therapies such as herbal and nutritional medicine.

Now as a practicing naturopathic doctor and an adjunct faculty member in the counseling and health psychology and the herbal sciences departments at Bastyr, I owe the University community and its founders a debt of gratitude for molding me into the physician I was meant to be. Bastyr's expert faculty was dedicated and demanding, challenging me to meet the highest academic standards in a serious, rigorous learning environment. At the same time, the faculty demonstrated unfailing support, care and humility — a rare balancing act they achieve with aplomb. This educational setting was instrumental to my success as a natural health care provider.
