Attending Bastyr is one of the best career choices you can make. It will open doors that degrees from other universities will not. Were it not for my master's degree in nutrition from Bastyr, I never would have written 15 nutrition books, including the best-selling Juicing for Life. My degree allowed me to become "The Juice Lady," as well as George Foreman's nutritionist and a spokesperson for the Foreman Grill. I am sure that without it, I would not have been invited to appear on many TV and radio shows, including CNN's "Health Watch."
When I say I have a degree from Bastyr, it carries respect — especially in the holistic community. One word — Bastyr — sums up considerable information about my background and what I stand for: whole foods, a holistic approach to health and a natural way of addressing physical challenges.
My education was high quality, facilitated by excellent faculty who are truly dedicated to helping their students achieve. This gave me the educational background to continue lifelong learning. I understand scientific research, and I can continue to learn and apply new information in ways that support the success and relevancy of my work.
