My experience as a student at Bastyr was not only positive, but helped me to grow profoundly. It started each day with the beautiful drive on the way to school, which set my mind at ease even on the most difficult days. Next to the campus is the 316-acre St. Edward State Park, an excellent place to take a break from studying and find peace of mind.
Once at school, the small class sizes provide students with a great deal of contact with the professors and, ultimately, a deeper learning experience. This is one of the best things about Bastyr: the sense of community. The librarians are never too busy to lend a hand and are a valuable source of information. The financial aid staff is always more than helpful. And the professors provide you with opportunities to show your true potential. I found challenging subject material was never out of reach because the professors were accessible to answer any of my questions.
I hope to become a doctor, and I know I was uniquely prepared for that career at Bastyr. I would encourage anyone to check out Bastyr. You will learn things here you won't find at any other school.
