Bastyr University, a private regionally accredited institution, is accepting applications for a full-time faculty position in its nutrition program at its San Diego, California campus.
The responsibilities of this position include the opportunity to help the launch of the new nutrition program in California. Instructional duties and responsibilities include teaching graduate students in human nutrition-related courses; offering whole-food nutrition, whole-person exercise perspectives within a natural health paradigm; and contributing broad University services through student advising, committee work, scholarship and professional development.
Work schedule: Number of credits and schedule TBD
Hiring range: Salary and ranking DOE. Preference will be given to candidates previously ranked as associate or full professor at a regionally accredited institution.
Candidate must have a PhD degree in nutrition or health related field with demonstrated excellence in teaching nutrition and health related courses at the graduate level for a minimum of 5 years.
