Chair, Associate/Full Professor - Counseling & Health Psychology

Department seeks an associate or full professor to join our group dedicated to multidisciplinary and integrative approaches to promoting the well-being of the mind, body and spirit and serve as a faculty peer administrator/chair and teacher. Enthusiasm for administrative tasks, such as budget and personnel management, new program development, student recruiting and retention initiatives, community outreach and collaborative work with all units of the university are a must. The position also includes teaching in our Bachelor of Science program in Health Psychology, and potentially in our Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, combined Master’s program in Nutrition and Clinical Health Psychology or in courses for students in naturopathic medicine and acupuncture and oriental medicine.
Qualifications include doctoral degree in psychology with a preference for the fields of Clinical, Counseling or Health and a minimum of eight years of full-time teaching and academic administrative experience at the departmental or institutional level. Experience in Health Psychology and mind-body approaches to health is preferred. License eligibility in Washington State is a plus.
