Bastyr University California located in San Diego is seeking applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level from candidates with expertise in Pathology. Exceptional candidates at the Associate Professor level will also be considered. Candidates should have a PhD/ND/MD with substantial experience in Pathology. This is a unique opportunity to pursue a career in medical education at a new naturopathic medical school campus through curriculum development, teaching, and other scholarly activities.
Instructional responsibilities include teaching Pathology in a systems-based integrated naturopathic medical curriculum. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated excellence in teaching and student mentoring. Experience in teaching medical students is preferred. Although not required for the position, the successful applicant will be encouraged to collaborate with current faculty in interdisciplinary research that focuses on the development and evaluation of principles and practices of natural, integrative, and complementary medicine. We are looking for visionary faculty who enjoy being part of a strong community in California.
Bastyr University California, a branch campus of a regionally accredited, multi-disciplinary institution for higher education and research in the natural health sciences, opened its doors in Fall 2012 as California’s only fully accredited naturopathic medical school.
